Granite City Processing is seeking dependable Steel Handlers for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Granite City, IL. You will move steel products using forklifts, cranes and material handling equipment, while maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material handling equipment.
• Safety-minded and able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Computer-literate to maintain production documents; experience with steel handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment to move steel products safely and efficiently.
• Support production and shipping by handling materials and maintaining accurate records.
• Contribute to a team environment focused on safety, quality and productivity.
