Granite City Processing, formerly Heidtman Steel, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Granite City, IL. You will maintain industrial electrical systems, troubleshoot PLCs, and support manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable operations.

The role offers competitive pay with a starting wage of $28.88 per hour or higher, a shift premium of $1.50/hour for 2nd shift, and a production incentive bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience performing industrial electrical maintenance in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Familiarity with PLCs, industrial automation, and control systems.
• Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, panels, circuits, and related equipment.
• Diagnose faults using testing tools and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Install, program, modify, and support PLC-controlled machinery.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance history.
