Metallus in Canton, OH is seeking a Finishing & Inspection Operator. The role inspects, conditions, shapes, and finishes steel bars and tubes to meet customer specs, operating various production and handling equipment with emphasis on safety and quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year in manufacturing. Training provided; willing to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed. Health and retirement benefits available after probationary period.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and quality specs.
• Experience with precision measuring tools is preferred or willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, condition, straighten, cut, grind steel bars and tubes to spec.
• Operate production and material handling equipment while maintaining safety and quality.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and report quality issues.
