Job summary

Staffmark Group in Oakdale, CA is hiring a Steel Detailing Manager (Direct Hire) to lead BIM/detailing in structural steel, review drawings, coordinate with project teams, and manage outside detailers. The role requires 5-10 years of experience and Tekla proficiency; salary range $90,000–$100,000 per year, DOE, with a Monday–Friday shift 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience as BIM/Detailing Manager in structural steel.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection standards.
• Proven experience managing detailers.
• Working knowledge of AISC standards and AWS codes.
• Tekla experience preferred.
• Review design, fabrication, and erection drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Manage and direct outside detailers and track detailing schedules.
• Oversee BIM coordination and control project models.
• Ensure Tekla standards, templates, and piece-mark consistency.
• Coordinate detailing releases with Project Managers and Erectors.
• Review final shop drawings and confirm approval comments are incorporated.
• Support programming, revisions, and production as needed.
