Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Steel Building Frame Fabricator in Woodburn, OR to fit and assemble structural steel components such as I-beams, columns, and trusses used in building construction.

You will read blueprints, layout parts, and perform GMAW welding and plasma cutting while maintaining safety and production timelines; lifting up to 50 lbs and standing all shift are required. Overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and relate them to components.

Responsibilities

• Fit and assemble structural steel components including I-beams, columns, and trusses.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Layout and secure parts using tack welding and welding.
• Perform GMAW (spray transfer) welding.
• Operate plasma cutting equipment.
• Measure materials using a tape measure.
• Maintain production timelines and a safe work environment.
