Job summary

Sanborn Regional High School seeks a Grades 6–12 STEAM Teacher to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

You will collaborate with classroom teachers to create interdisciplinary opportunities, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving for students preparing for college, careers, and a tech-enabled world.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid New Hampshire teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of STEAM instructional practices.
• Experience integrating technology into classroom instruction.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned STEAM instruction for grades 6–12.
• Develop authentic, project-based learning experiences that integrate multiple STEAM disciplines.
• Foster student creativity, innovation, computational thinking, and engineering design.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of learners.
• Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Promote a classroom culture of curiosity, collaboration, and responsible risk-taking.
• Collaborate with teachers to create interdisciplinary STEAM opportunities across curricula.
• Assess student learning using formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.
