Job summary

Capitol Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a Steam Fitting Helper to assist the Foreman on site with installing piping systems, fixtures and equipment for gas, steam and hydronic heating.

This role involves heavy physical work, operation of power tools, and learning all aspects of the trade in a demanding environment. You will gain hands-on experience through apprenticeship and training opportunities with a long-established Wisconsin HVAC contractor dedicated to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematics understanding.
• Ability to engage in heavy lifting.
• Willing to work long hours when necessary.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to communicate with other trades and co-workers.

• Assist in fabricating and installing piping, fixtures and equipment for gas, steam and hydronic heating systems.
• Assist in installing refrigeration piping.

Job description

We are looking for a Steam Fitting Helper to work closely with the job site Foreman to install hpiping systems. This includes heavy, physical tasks, working with power tools, and working in challenging conditions. The helper is expected to learn all areas of the trade.
