Job summary

One City Schools in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a passionate STEAM Teacher for elementary and middle school students. The role emphasizes integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics into engaging, hands-on learning.

The ideal candidate will hold a Wisconsin DPI teaching license with a STEM emphasis and a commitment to project-based learning, collaboration with families, and ongoing professional development. This is a full-time, 11-month position with planning time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM, or a related field.
• Valid Wisconsin DPI teaching license in Elementary Education or Middle Childhood-Early Adolescence with a STEM emphasis.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Previous STEM teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a STEAM curriculum aligned to DPI standards.
• Deliver engaging instruction to elementary and middle school students.
• Use data to inform instruction and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborate with colleagues.
• Engage families and community in school activities.
