Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an energetic instructor in Providence, RI to deliver after-school STEM and creative programs. This role involves in-person teaching of 3D printing, digital tech, art, and life skills to PreK-12 students, using provided lesson plans and materials.

Work hours are part-time with a schedule that includes late afternoon classes. You will report to a Program Success Manager and join a mission-driven team focused on hands-on, joyful learning across 3D printing, robotics, art, and

Qualifications

AA degree or higher and ability to commit to full proposed schedule.
2+ years teaching/instructing preferred.
Experience working with children and educational settings.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Reliable transportation and willingness to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach.
Deliver standard-aligned instruction that fosters critical thinking and problem solving.
Engage in professional, responsive communication with Program Success Manager and site staff.
Deliver instruction from Nexplore’s program collection with accommodations as needed.
Participate in family engagement efforts and help students access programs.
