Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time instructor in Nashville to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction. Classes run Mondays and Thursdays, with 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM sessions, teaching PreK-12 students using Nexplore’s lesson plans and materials.

You will report to a Program Success Manager and join a nationwide enrichment team. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction, reviewing plans beforehand, and engaging families through showcases and

Qualifications

AA degree or higher required or preferred.
2+ years teaching experience preferred.
Experience working with children.
Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

Follow provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach; review lesson plans and materials.
Deliver standard-aligned instruction that fosters critical thinking and joy in learning; manage materials.
Communicate professionally with Program Success Manager and site personnel.
Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s programs and administer accommodations as relevant.
Engage families and empower each child to meaningfully access Nexplore programs.
