Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking a diligent Busser to support the Food & Beverage department by keeping tables clean, organized, and properly reset for guest service. You will assist servers and ensure a seamless dining experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

You will greet guests, refill beverages, clear tables, and maintain sanitary work areas while upholding gaming regulations and service standards. This role emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a full-service dining venue.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service.
• Greet guests in a friendly and upbeat manner.
• Refill water and non-alcoholic beverages, and offer refills when glasses are half full.
• Clear tables promptly and sweep surrounding areas as needed.
• Transport soiled tableware to the dishwashing area and replace silverware as appropriate.
• Set and reset tables according to outlet standards.
• Polish glassware and silverware to maintain presentation quality.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas, rotating stock using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain a general knowledge of menu and beverage offerings.
• Assist in running food as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
