Job summary

Dallas County seeks an experienced Disease Intervention Program Manager to supervise staff and oversee timely follow-up of reportable STDs in the community. You will lead a team of fifteen staff, develop protocols, coordinate disease intervention services, and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Health or related field and at least three years of professional experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Health or related field.
• Three years of professional experience, including one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates supervisory staff; provides training, education and technical assistance.
• Establishes program objectives, develops protocols and appointment systems; supports planning and coordination.
• Generates reports for CDC and other agencies; develops budget proposals.
• Administers quality assurance; conducts field audits; analyzes workload; identifies training needs.
• Plans disease intervention research and reviews current STD literature.
• Monitors surveillance; enforces confidentiality and data sensitivity policies; addresses issues.
• Oversees daily supervision of HIV testing and counseling clinic.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
