Job summary

The Spanish Schoolhouse LLC seeks a Spanish-speaking afternoon teacher for our Pearland preschool program. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday from 1:45 PM to 6:00 PM, offering a supportive team and opportunities to share language and culture with young learners.

You will create engaging lessons, document progress, reinforce classroom routines, and collaborate with colleagues to nurture bilingual development and curiosity in our diverse classroom community.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish (read, write, speak).
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for early childhood development.
• Reliable and able to work Monday–Friday 1:45 PM–6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing learning environment for preschoolers.
• Assist in preparing engaging, hands-on lesson plans.
• Share Latin culture and Spanish language with children.
• Reinforce classroom rules and positive discipline.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement lessons.
• Engage children in conversations and hands-on activities.
• Document daily activities and child development for parents.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents and team.

As a SPANISH-SPEAKING AFTERNOON TEACHER, you get to:

• Dependable and able to work Monday-Friday 1:45 PM-6:00 PM

Extra credit for:
