Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC seeks a Stator Winder apprentice/fabrication role to learn all operations and actively participate in winding, blocking, banding, resin mixing, cleaning, brazing, insulation and heat-cycle setup (GVPI).

Candidate should have a High school education; 4+ years industrial-mechanical experience preferred; must pass fitness tests and obtain a forklift license. On-site work in Gas Services division with strong health benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Prefer 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience.
• Proficiency with shop tools and ability to use precision measuring equipment.
• Basic math skills; read/write; pass hearing/vision/pulmonary tests.
• Must be able to be fit to wear a respirator and obtain a forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with all tooling and equipment.
• Wind, block, band, mix resin, clean, braze, insulate and set-up for heat cycle (GVPI).
