Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Stator Winder operator in Charlotte, NC to learn all operations and work with tooling and equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience, and proficiency with shop tools, precision measuring, and basic math; able to pass respirator, hearing, and vision tests and obtain a forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Learn all operations of a Stator Winder and related processes.
• Work with tooling and equipment, including wind, block, band, resin mixing, cleaning, braze, insulation and heat cycle setup.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Become familiar with all tooling and equipment.
• Wind, block, band, mix resin, clean, braze, insulate and set-up for heat cycle (GVPI).

What You Bring

• High school education or equivalent.
• Prefer to have a candidate with 4 or more years of industrial-mechanical experience.
• Proficiency with shop tools and ability to use precision measuring equipment.
• Basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms. Successful applicants must be able to pass hearing, vision and pulmonary test.
• Operator must be able to be fit to wear a respirator and must be able to obtain a fork truck license.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
