Job summary

Oakland University’s Academic Success Center is seeking Peer Tutors to assist students in understanding and mastering course material. Tutors provide academic support, clarify concepts, and help students develop effective study strategies, with openings in Statistics, Psychology, Nursing, and HS 2000.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled OU student in a degree-seeking program with relevant courses completed.
• Second-semester freshman standing or higher.
• GPA 3.7 (A-) in tutored courses.
• Ability to manage time and tasks.
• Must complete up to 10 hours of paid training toward tutor certification.
• Obtain a recommendation from an OU faculty member.
• Applicants must complete the questions on this form to be considered.
