Job summary

The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) seeks a Statistician to join the Data Analysis Unit in New York. You will perform statistical and actuarial analysis of pension data and support the Fund’s actuarial programme.

Based in the One Dag Hammarskjöld building, you will work with colleagues across duty stations to ensure accurate reporting, data integrity and staff retirement benefits are managed in line with UN standards.

This position is located in the Data Analysis Unit (DAU) within the Office of the Deputy Chief Executive of Pension Administration (DECPA) of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF). The Statistician reports to the Chief, Data Analysis Unit, and the position is based in New York. The focus of this role is to undertake statistical and actuarial analysis of data, and support the Fund’s actuarial programme, including the management of the Committee of Actuaries.
