Job summary

FreshDirect in NYC seeks a Stationary Engineer to ensure safe operation of all facility systems including HVAC, electrical, boiler, and plumbing. You will perform PMs, log meters, and maintain equipment, aiming for high reliability and compliance.

Requirements include a NYC High Pressure Boiler License, 4+ years in maintenance operations, experience with air compressors, combustion and refrigeration equipment, strong electrical knowledge, CFC certification, and a high school diploma or

Qualifications

MUST hold NYC High Pressure Boiler License.
At least 4 years of experience in maintenance operations.
Must have experience with repair of air compressors, combustion equipment, and refrigeration equipment.
Must have strong electrical knowledge to troubleshoot combustion firing controls, refrigeration equipment and related safety devices.
Must be CFC certified.
Diploma: High School or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform PMs on units throughout the facility. Make periodic inspections of equipment and minor repairs to such equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Read and log meters, gauges and other recording devices.
Maintain high-pressure boilers and associate equipment, including regulating boiler water/feed water testing and treatment.
Order engineering supplies, parts, tools, and equipment.
Manage compliance with administrative and regulatory policies/requirements.
Conduct water testing of Cooling towers.
