Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an experienced HVAC Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain campus HVAC systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and patient comfort. The role involves adhering to SOPs, maintaining CMMS logs, and responding to alarms with timely, professional actions.

The candidate should have 4+ years in industrial/trades maintenance, basic BAS skills, and strong knowledge of codes and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School that includes technical training.
• Basic knowledge of codes/regulations pertaining to equipment and operations.
• Basic computer skills (CMMS, BAS, MS Office).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers, towers, fans, pumps per procedures.
• Maintains records and CMMS entries for startup, failures and repairs.
• Responds to alarms and performs preventive maintenance per procedures.
• Troubleshoots HVAC issues and coordinates repairs with minimal patient impact.
• Reads blueprints and maintenance manuals to complete assignments.
