Job Description:

• Operates and maintains high-pressure, manually-controlled and/or fully-automatic high pressure steam boilers.
• Services steam boilers by performing such operations as regulating temperatures, draft fans and natural gas/fuel feeds, controlling and maintaining proper fire, checking controls and servicing all automatic equipment, pumps, injectors, emission control devices and monitors, and accessories.
• Maintains correct fuel and water treatment and water levels; records and interprets pressure, combustion and other gauges.
• Makes functional check of boilers during firing and after completion of major repair operations.
• Operates chillers, air compressors, and other devices as part of the operation of the central utility plant.
• Must have prior boiler operational experience.
• Must have prior Chiller operational experience.
