Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Stationary Engineer to ensure safe and reliable operation of boilers, HVAC, pumps, motors, and building automation systems across our facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and support energy efficiency initiatives while following all safety regulations.

You will maintain, repair and optimize building systems, coordinate with contractors, and support daily facility operations to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (4) years of Stationary Engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of all tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Customer service oriented and able to learn new technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair boilers, heaters, pumps, valves, and lines used in steam distribution.
• Operate, maintain and repair refrigerant systems and air conditioning components with proper safety and recovery procedures.
• Maintain pumps, piping, valves, and filters in water and brine systems.
• Operate electrical motors and controls, including VFDs and related equipment.
• Maintain building automation systems for HVAC and lighting and monitor energy systems.
• Inventory control for parts and materials needed for building system maintenance.
