Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring a Stationary Engineer at SHARP MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, 70485005. The role focuses on operation, maintenance, renovation and repair of boiler systems and all other mechanical systems in a healthcare facility.

We offer a full-time schedule with ANY SHIFT and a pay range of $35-$39 per hour. Candidates should have 1+ year of related experience and a boiler operator’s license; benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401k.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Holds boiler operator license for the city/state where work is performed.
• License/certification required for the work at the site.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain stationary engines and equipment such as boilers, turbines, generators, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance using hand and power tools.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties as assigned and may vary by account/client requirements.

What You’ll Do:

As a Stationary Engineer at Sodexo, you are a problem solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs.You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, renovation and repair of boiler systems and all other mechanical systems in a facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate and maintain stationary engines and equipment such as steam engines, boilers, air compressors, generators, turbines, and refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance of equipment, as required, using hand and power tools.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done. Minimum requirement is boiler operator’s license
