Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Electrician to support UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS AHUJA MEDICAL CENTER in Beachwood, OH. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems to meet facility needs while upholding safety and reliability across the campus.

The position emphasizes teamwork, dependable attendance, and hands-on problem solving, with shifts including mornings, afternoons, and rotating weekends. A valid electrician license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be team-oriented, adaptable, and reliable, promoting a healthy and safe working environment.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the city and state where the work is performed; minimum Electrician’s license.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and install wiring, motors, transformers, generators, lighting, and other electrical systems.
• Inspect and test electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
• Assist in isolating defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments.
• Attend work and report for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on account needs and client requirements.

What You’ll Do

As an Electrician at Sodexo, you are a problem solver, and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs.

Responsibilities include

• Repair, maintain, and install wiring, motors, transformers, generators, lighting, and other electrical systems
• Inspect and test electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits
• Assist in isolating defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamp, or growler.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done.
