Job Title: Stationary Engineer
Pay Rate: $34 to $36.94/Hr
Duration: 12 Months
Location: St. Louis Metropolitan Area

Shift Options:

  • 7 AM to 7 PM (Weekend - Fri to Sun & every alternate Thursday 7 AM to 3 PM)
  • 3rd Shift 12 AM to 8 AM (Mon to Fri)

Our client is a Global Industrial and Consumer Products Manufacturer.

We are looking for a Stationary Engineer to work at the St. Louis site which manufactures surfactants via chemical processes.

  • Responsible for various results systems contribution to operational & organizational improvement.
  • Operate, control, and regulate boiler operation, including troubleshooting boiler & boiler auxiliary problems.
  • Preventative maintenance on boilers, cooling towers, and fire sprinkler system inspection & repair.
  • Facility upkeep, including grounds maintenance, HVAC Systems, Fire Protection Systems & plant-wide Utility Systems.
  • Troubleshoot & repair all plant equipment using available resources.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess current Stationary Engineer License - Class 1 for the City of St. Louis.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in industrial-type maintenance or the equivalent of technical schooling and experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have millwright experience and/or pipe-fitting experience.
  • Basic capabilities in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding, and machining.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, piping schematics, and mechanical assembly drawings.
  • Basic experience with 120V power distribution systems as well as signal, control, and communication.
  • Must be comfortable working around hazardous chemicals. Required full-face respiratory protection.
  • Ability to work either Graves - 12 am - 8 am, Mon-Fri OR D Crew: 7p - 7a, Fr-Su & every other Thurs 7a-3p.
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed - up to 60 total hours per week is possible. No more than 60 hours per week.
  • Need someone with the Class 1 Stationary Engineer license from the City of St. Louis which is a non-negotiable requirement.
