Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Director of Facility Services and the Chief Stationary Engineer, the role involves skilled maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks, including installing and repairing equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing service and preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, emergency generators, pumps, control valves, and auxiliary machinery promptly.
• Estimating materials and labor, overseeing stock upgrades.
• Operating boilers, auxiliary equipment, and HVAC systems 24/7.
• Preparing equipment for inspections.
• Conducting water tests and taking corrective actions.
• Performing safety inspections after hours.
• Routine maintenance calls as needed.

Qualifications required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Stationary Engineer.
• Current 1st or 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer License through Houston.
