Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri is seeking a qualified Power Plant Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility’s heating, ventilation and utility systems.

The role requires a current 1st Class Stationary Engineer's license and a solid background in power plant operations. Two years of related experience is preferred, with a focus on reliability, safety and adherence to hospital standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Current 1st Class Stationary Engineer's license is required (St. Louis, MO.).
• Two years of power plant experience is preferred.
• Moderate degree of manual and finger dexterity and mechanical ability to operate and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper operation of all heating, air conditioning, ventilation and utilities needed for a well maintained and safe Power Plant operation.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Current 1st Class Stationary Engineer's license (St. Louis, MO.) required. Moderate degree of manual and finger dexterity and mechanical ability to operate and maintain equipment.

Experience: Two years of power plant experience is preferred. Verbal proficiency is required to receive and assign duties.
