Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Power Plant Operator responsible for the proper operation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and utilities to keep the power plant safe and reliable. The role aligns with our mission and values, ensuring high-quality, uninterrupted facility services for patients and team members.

The ideal candidate will hold a 1st Class Stationary Engineer's license (St. Louis, MO) or be eligible, have at least high school education, and prefer two years of

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• License: Current 1st Class Stationary Engineer's license (St. Louis, MO.) required.
• Experience: Two years of power plant experience preferred.
• Skills: Verbal proficiency required.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the proper operation of all heating, air conditioning, ventilation and utilities needed for a well maintained and safe Power Plant operation. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Current 1st Class Stationary Engineer's license (St. Louis, MO.) required. Moderate degree of manual and finger dexterity and mechanical ability to operate and maintain equipment.

Experience: Two years of power plant experience is preferred. Verbal proficiency is required to receive and assign duties.
