Job summary

Pilgrim's Cold Spring Plant in Minnesota is hiring a Station Mechanic for the day shift. You will assist with plant maintenance, repair equipment, and uphold 5S and safety standards.

Requires basic math, English proficiency, ability to pass a Prove It test, and at least 2 years in maintenance. You must operate maintenance power tools and follow electrical/mechanical procedures. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to pass a Prove It test.
• Two years' experience in maintenance field preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and abilities to analyze, evaluate, and solve mechanical problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the operation of maintenance power tools.
• Knowledge of electric and mechanical procedures.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

SHIFT: MONDAY- SATURDAY 6:30AM-4:30PM

LOCATION: COLD SPRING PLANT

PAY: starts at $27.95 an Hour

POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for assisting the maintenance department with plant maintenance.
