Requirements

Overall responsibility for daily operations of an assigned retail location, including:

• Employment and Employee Relations
• Retail Management and Operations
• Accurate and timely completion of paperwork
• Staff scheduling and availability to assist as needed
• Inventory management for stock, fuel, chemicals, and supplies
• Cash management
• Customer Service and Communication
• Facility Maintenance and Safety

Reporting Relationships

This position reports to the District Manager. The Assistant Manager, Lead Sales Associate, and Sales Associates report to this role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. High school diploma required; minimum 6 years management experience.
• Proven team motivator with strong leadership and training skills.
• Completion of an approved Food Service Sanitation Management course and maintenance of certification.
• Legal requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain applicable Operator License for alcohol sales, where required.
• Superior customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, reach above shoulder, climb, shovel, sweep, and mop.
• 1-3 years of prior management experience in retail, grocery, or restaurant settings is required.
