Job summary

American Electric Power is seeking a Station Engineer within the Transmission System Operations Engineering (TSOE) group. Qualifications

This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in an ABET-accredited program.
Passing the FE examination is encouraged and preferred for future licensing as a PE.
Entry into SG7 may be considered with a Bachelor's plus relevant experience or a Master's/PhD.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for commissioning and verification of transmission work.
Review outages for configuration changes and ensure records align with as-built conditions.
Perform root cause analysis to identify process improvements and ensure accurate facility ratings.
Coordinate with engineers to lead and guide project activities and ensure compliance with standards.
