Job summary

American Food & Vending in Utica, NY is seeking a Station Cook to prepare and serve menu items across Grill, Pizza, Deli, Salad Bar, Seasonal and Specialty stations. You will help create a memorable dining experience with excellent service.

We value hospitality-focused individuals with prior food service experience and basic knife skills. This on-site role requires lifting 30 lbs and a teamwork mindset to keep stations ready and guests happy.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality/food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow standards to prepare and serve menu offerings for designated station(s).
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays safely to workstations and storage areas.
• Serve food and to-go items per guest specifications.
• Store foods with proper wrapping, dating, and rotation.
• Maintain temperature logs and production records.
• Restock supplies and manage inventory as directed.

Summary

A Station Cook with American Dining Creations ensures exceptional dining through the set up, preparation, and serving of menu offerings to our guests. Stations may include Grill, Pizza, Deli, Salad Bar, Seasonal, and Specialty menu items. By providing outstanding service, a smile, and amazing food, our Station Cooks create a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Follow standards to prepare and serve menu offerings for designated station(s).
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards.
• Serve food and any goods per guest specifications.
• Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Retains temperature logs and production records in an efficient manner.
• Keep supplies replenished, may restock coolers, and take inventory as directed.
• Set-up and breakdown stations, clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, dishes for designated workstation.
• Adhere to all state and local food production, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Remain focused on customer satisfaction through providing excellent service to all guests, clients, and team members.
• Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner.
• Be efficient and organized.
• May operate POS to complete orders, and package "to go" items.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

• This position requires lifting 30lbs unassisted, bending, walking, climbing stairs, and standing for scheduled shifts.
