Job summary

National Star Services is hiring cooks in Des Plaines, IL. The role requires cooking in large quantities, following standardized recipes, and maintaining food quality and safety. You will operate commercial kitchen equipment, assist with inventory, and keep stations clean and production-ready.

The team works in a fast-paced environment with two daily shifts. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred, and immediate availability is required for the first shift schedule.

Qualifications

National Star Services, a trusted facility management company with over 28 years of nationwide success, is currently hiring Cooks for our location in Des Plaines, IL 60018.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food in large quantities following standardized recipes

Schedule:

Days: Monday through Sunday

(Two days off per week; schedule provided by supervisor)

1st Shift: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Hourly Pay:

$18.55/hr. (BIWEEKLY PAY)

Requirements:
