ExcelHealth Group is seeking a full-time traveling Podiatrist to provide high-quality foot and ankle care to nursing home residents across the state. You will work independently with support from a scheduling team, delivering essential care in long-term care settings.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree, a valid state license, and is willing to travel statewide. This role offers full-time employment with travel-based responsibilities and excellent patient impact.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and valid state license to practice podiatry.
• Valid malpractice coverage or ability to obtain coverage.
• Willingness to travel statewide to nursing home locations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat foot and ankle conditions for nursing home residents in assigned facilities.
• Provide routine and medically necessary podiatric care with professionalism and compassion.
• Develop treatment plans based on patient presentation and clinical findings.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to facility staff promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation for each patient encounter.
• Coordinate with scheduling to support facility visits and patient care coverage.
• Represent ExcelHealth Group professionally with residents and staff.
• Stay current with podiatric medicine best practices and continuing education.
