Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Multi-State Traveling Podiatrist to provide podiatric care across skilled nursing facilities in multiple states, with travel expenses covered. The role offers flexible scheduling and strong administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

You will diagnose and manage foot and lower limb conditions, deliver diabetic foot care, educate patients and caregivers, and document visits using NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DPM degree and be licensed or eligible in multiple states.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing facilities preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver podiatric care in long-term care and senior living facilities.
• Diagnose and manage foot and lower limb conditions.
• Provide diabetic foot care and preventive care for high-risk patients.
• Educate patients and caregivers on foot health and mobility.
• Collaborate with facility staff to optimize outcomes.
• Document visits in EMR (NextGen) using company iPad.
