Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group seeks a traveling podiatrist to provide comprehensive podiatric care across skilled nursing and senior living facilities in multiple states, with travel expenses covered and multi-state licensing supported by PPG.

The role offers full- or part-time options, with company-issued iPad for EMR entries, and a benefits package for W-2 providers. Strong autonomy and support from experienced podiatrists are emphasized.

Qualifications

• DPM degree required.
• Active or eligible multi-state licensure required.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to travel and adapt in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver podiatric care in long-term care and senior living facilities.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage foot and lower limb conditions.
• Provide preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on foot health and mobility.
• Collaborate with facility staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document visits in EMR (NextGen) using company-issued device.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure high standards of care.
