Metric Geo is seeking a Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects across Oklahoma. The role requires ownership of cost, schedule, quality and profitability, with frequent coordination across field teams, engineers, and DOT representatives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy civil PM, experience with DOT/highway/earthwork, and a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. Extensive travel across Oklahoma is required to match project needs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Experience with DOT, highway, roadway, earthwork, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, and project financials.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and field teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Oklahoma DOT experience is highly desirable.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively across Oklahoma based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage heavy civil projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Take ownership of project cost, schedule, quality, and profitability
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
  • Manage relationships with owners, engineers, DOT representatives, and other stakeholders
  • Review contracts, plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Monitor project financials, forecasting, billing, and cost control
  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership
  • Assist with estimating, bidding, and preconstruction activities when required
