Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. seeks transportation construction inspectors for municipal and state projects across New York State.

You will review plans, document work activities and quantities, and inspect to ensure conformance with approved plans and specs, performing both field inspection and office engineering. Ideal candidates have experience with NYSDOT Standard Specifications and MURK, and hold NICET, ACI, NACE, NETTCP, or ATSSA certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with NYSDOT Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials is preferred.
• Candidates with NICET, ACI, NACE, NETTCP, or ATSSA certifications are preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, document work activities and quantities, and inspect work to ensure conformance with approved plans and specifications.
• Field inspection and office engineering tasks as part of project oversight.
