Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks transportation construction inspectors for municipal and state projects in New York State. You will review plans, document activities and quantities, and inspect work to ensure conformance with approved plans and specifications.

Roles include both field inspection and office engineering. Ideal candidates have experience with NYSDOT standards and MURK, plus solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with NYSDOT Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials or equivalent.
• Experience with NYSDOT Manual of Uniform Record Keeping (MURK).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and document work activities and quantities.
• Inspect work to ensure conformance with plans and specifications (field and office).
