Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of work experience in public health program development and management.
• Experience with grant and budget management and evaluation.
• Master's degree in public health or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and work collaboratively across organizational units.
• Willingness to work on-site in Tallahassee, FL.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Florida Stroke Registry and the Florida Paul Coverdell National Acute Stroke Program, overseeing programmatic and fiscal operations.
• Coordinate statewide stroke systems of care and serve as subject matter expert on stroke prevention and health outcomes.
• Provide grant reporting and technical assistance to staff and county health departments; collaborate with internal and external partners to reduce stroke-related morbidity and mortality in Florida.
