Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Forest Program Specialist; or as a Forest Assistant Manager; or as a Forest Nursery Manager; or an equivalent combination.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Direct statewide silviculture operations and timber program administration.
• Review timber proposals and improve silvicultural guidance.
• Provide technical leadership on applied silviculture techniques.
• Develop and lead training for foresters and staff.
• Coordinate Good Neighbor Authority activities with federal partners.
