VitalCore Health Strategies in Topeka, Kansas, seeks a Statewide Psychiatric Director to provide statewide clinical leadership and psychiatric oversight for correctional healthcare across the state. The role ensures delivery of high-quality behavioral health care and collaborates with facility leadership, medical providers, and operational partners to drive excellence and continuity of care.

Applicants must hold a current Kansas medical license, be Board Certified in Psychiatry, and have a valid

Qualifications

Must be board certified in psychiatry with an active Kansas medical license.
DEA license and BLS certification are required.
Experience leading psychiatric programs across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

Provide statewide clinical leadership and oversight for behavioral health services across correctional facilities.
Develop and monitor psychiatric policies and best practices.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and contractual standards.
Supervise psychiatrists and behavioral health staff; mentor providers.
Participate in quality improvement and program development.
