Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Behavioral Health Director at Hutchinson Correctional Facility to lead the Behavioral Health delivery system in Kansas. The role includes development, implementation and supervision of clinical programs, coordinating with medical staff, and ensuring quality services for inmates.

The Director will supervise Behavioral Health staff, oversee program development, and ensure compliance with NCCHC/ACA standards while collaborating with regional and site

Qualifications

• Responsible for development, implementation, supervision and monitoring of a Behavioral Health delivery system.
• Coordinate involvement with Regional Manager, Site Administrator, Medical Director and Psychiatrist.
• Lead treatment programs contracted to VitalCore and supervise Behavioral Health staff.

Responsibilities

• Acts as point of contact for administrative staff regarding treatment programs and problem resolution.
• Develops and revises policies for identification, assessment and provision of clinical services.
• Supervises planning, development and implementation of contracted treatment programs.
• Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to Behavioral Health staff.
• Ensures timely and professional delivery of clinical services and assigns on-call duties.
• Coordinates the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
