VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist at El Dorado Correctional Facility in El Dorado, Kansas. You will conduct diagnostic evaluations, provide medication management, and deliver individual and group therapy as part of a comprehensive behavioral health program.

The role includes clinical direction, supervision of staff, and collaboration with medical teams to ensure effective treatment plans and timely discharge follow-up within a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed psychiatrist in Kansas.
• Must have completed a psychiatric residency.
• Current DEA number is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for inmates.
• Provide psychiatric services for inpatients and regular follow-up.
• Participate in treatment planning and discharge planning.
