Job summary

The Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to manage MBCC’s statewide programs, workshops, cohorts, and engagement initiatives. You will work closely with the President & CEO and partners to ensure plans move from concept through execution and documentation.

The role demands strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts while advancing opportunities for Black-owned businesses across Minnesota.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience coordinating programs, projects, events, or community initiatives.
• Strong organizational and deadline management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work with diverse partners.
• Experience with data collection, reports, and program evaluation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MBCC programs, workshops, cohorts, summits, and statewide initiatives from planning to completion.
• Maintain calendars, timelines, workplans, and key deliverables for programs.
• Handle logistics, locations, facilitators, vendors, materials, and on-site execution.
• Manage participant registration, communications, surveys, and follow-ups.
• Serve as a professional contact for participants, facilitators, partners, and stakeholders.
• Support statewide engagement and outreach across Minnesota.
• Track participation, engagement, outcomes, and performance measures with regular updates.
• Prepare dashboards and summaries for leadership and reporting.
