Job summary

Washington State University is seeking a Prevention System Manager for the Substance Use Disorder Prevention and Mental Health Promotion section. Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the area of specialization with at least 3 years of related experience.
Current Certified Prevention Professional certification or plan to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Three years of experience in substance abuse prevention/health education programs or community-based prevention strategies.
Position requires extensive statewide travel and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Provide culturally appropriate technical assistance and contract monitoring of prevention programs and strategies statewide.
Lead at least one statewide project or initiative with measurable impact.
Engage with state workgroups, partnerships, and experts in the SUD prevention and mental health promotion field.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in a field relevant to area of specialization
