Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience as Library Development Manager (Commonwealth or Federal title).
• Seven years of professional library experience with two years of supervisory experience.
• Six years of professional library experience with two years of supervisory experience and an MLS from an ALA-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Direct statewide library development programs, service models, and advisory support.
• Oversee bureau operations, staff supervision, workflow planning, and resource management.
• Manage federal and state library grants, including compliance and reporting.
• Build partnerships with libraries, agencies, educational institutions, and communities.
• Support statewide priorities, identify needs, provide recommendations, and represent the agency in meetings.
