Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy is seeking a Staff Instructor to join a team of full-time instructors. The role covers classroom and practical instruction across multiple law enforcement topics, including custody & control, emergency vehicle operations, firearms, physical training, and use of force.

• Bachelor's Degree in Education required.
• P.O.S.T. certification or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
• 0-3 years of progressive work experience in Education or Instruction, with at least two years in law enforcement.
• OR 4-6 years of progressive work experience with at least 5 years of law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruct law enforcement topics in classroom and practical settings, including Custody & Control, EVOC, Firearms, PT, and Use of Force.
• Supervise students during class and after hours.
• Write evaluations on students, guest instructors, and course content.
• Prepare, review, and revise existing lesson plans and training materials.
• Research and develop new course content and implement curriculum changes.
