Job summary

CleanAIRE NC is seeking a Health Manager to plan, implement, and oversee all health program activities. You will lead statewide engagement with medical and health professionals and translate research into actionable health-policy insights.

The role emphasizes education, advocacy, and partnership building across state and local levels, including managing advisory boards, communicating with policymakers, and coordinating trainings and events to advance environmental health and climate priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating educational health presentations.
• Experience in public health, environmental project management, event planning, and policy advocacy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Asana, and Zoom.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, environmental science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of health-related initiatives including asthma and respiratory programs.
• Measure program outcomes across North Carolina and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Grow and engage Health Program membership statewide and manage the Health Advisory Board.
