Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Must be detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the state and beyond as needed.
• Physical capacity for sedentary work and occasional on-site activity.

Responsibilities

• Support Marketing Projects Manager to implement external affairs events across the state.
• Develop annual event plan aligned with Goodwill’s strategic goals.
• Help execute events (public programs, community fairs, grand openings, ribbon cuttings, conferences, community meetings).
• Build relationships with Goodwill staff and community partners to educate and engage clients and the public.
• Assist with budgeting and coordinating event logistics with internal teams.
