Job summary

State of Nebraska’s DMV seeks a Marketing & Communications Specialist III to lead statewide communications. You will craft campaigns, messaging, and materials across divisions to inform customers about online services and service changes.

You’ll partner with executives, shape branding, and drive public information campaigns with statewide impact, aiming for clearer communication and better service for Nebraskans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, advertising, graphic arts, digital media, videography, or related field and at least three years’ experience in developing, planning, and managing public relations/publicity campaigns, mass media communication activities, public information programs, and/or marketing/promotional campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and direct the agency-wide marketing and communications strategy. Establish long-term communications objectives, branding standards, messaging priorities, and marketing plans supporting all DMV divisions.
  • Advise executive leadership regarding communications strategy and public perception.
  • Plan and execute communications for major agency modernization initiatives.
  • Develop communication plans, educational materials, public information campaigns, stakeholder outreach, and implementation strategies.
  • Coordinate messaging across agency divisions and external partners.
  • Develop and manage statewide customer education and marketing campaigns.
